Terminology

Use of Macro 4's software products, programs, documentation, education and professional services is collectively referred to as 'Product'.

Early Availability (EA)

This Product is released as part of earlier phases, which test that the release is ready for unmonitored production use. By accepting an EA level of the Product, you accept the Product 'as is' and waive all express and implied warranties. On this basis Macro 4 strongly recommends that you use the EA level of the Product only on a test system and not the live production system.

General Availability (GA)

Once Macro 4 is satisfied that the Product has been fully tested and is now ready to be used in a live production system then the level is marked as GA. Provided that a Macro 4 Product License Agreement and Product Schedule has been fully executed, Macro 4 warrants that the Product licensed will perform in substantial accordance with the specifications and descriptions contained in the current production documentation as of the acceptance of any Product Schedule for a Product. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, in respect to this agreement or any Product provided to licensee by licensor.
